From founders of brokerage firms to successful general managers, women have made their mark in this field through hard work and dedication in order to inspire other women to pursue their dreams and become leaders in the real estate industry.
Here, we will be looking at some of the most remarkable women in the real estate business in Qatar, their mottos and how they lead by example. They chose to share some of their success stories, how they overcame challenges and what advice they have for aspiring female entrepreneurs.
The Loft Bureau Real Estate Founder and Managing Director, Zhanna, is a successful real estate broker with a proven track record. She has over 15 years of industry experience in various marketplaces in the Middle East and globally. Zhanna has established her own company – The Loft Bureau Real Estate, and built a successful brokerage business employing 25 professionals. The Loft Bureau Real Estate were awarded the Best Property Video and Best Quality Brokerage – Luxury Properties for the Platinum Tier at the 2021 Property Finder Real Estate Awards.

Born in Doha and Palestinian by origin, she moved to Australia at the age of 9 years. Tamara spent her high school years at the prestigious St. Mary’s Anglican Girls’ School. She then completed a bachelor’s degree in e-commerce and marketing and a master’s degree in accounting at Curtin University in Perth, Western Australia. When she graduated, she returned to Doha. She worked for five years at The Pearl Qatar Island under the United Development Company in the handover and leasing department before launching 25 Spaces Real Estate in Medina Centrale, The Pearl Island. Tamara wanted to venture out independently, manage her time, and be her own boss. She has been in the real estate industry since 2008, and real estate has always been her passion.
“I read a lot of books, and one day I came across a quote by Oprah which stuck with me – Create the highest, grandest vision possible for your life because you become what you believe.”
Mother of four, originally from Yemen and raised in France, with degrees in Cellular Biology, Journalism and Scientific Communication, she has combined her passion for science and communication while working in various industries. Abir founded ABH Real Estate agency in Qatar and recently inaugurated the Dubai branch. In her leadership roles, she has developed expertise in business management, marketing, and sales, while also taking pride in creating a positive, multicultural and inclusive work environment.
“Daughter, Sister, Spouse, Mother, Entrepreneur, I am all these at once. It was a journey of challenges, sacrifices, moments of doubt and loneliness, happiness, successes, and enriching encounters.
If I were to sum up some of the lessons I’ve learned over the years, I would say:
